The Votes Are In I Amber Wiseman, WNC Photographer
I want to thank each of you who took the time to cast your vote in Wiseman Photography’s Best Image of 2011 contest. I had a hard time narrowing down the ones I thought I would share and by the sounds of it, it was as equally hard for each of you to select your favorite too. There were so many votes, but the outcome shows that image #23 (Sweet Violet Corson) was the viewers top choice. Because Vi is our winner she has won a free session for 2012…check below to see some of the other precious photos that were taken during this same session in 2011 as this winning image.
Now, since each of you took the time to vote, Wiseman Photography wants to treat one of you to a free 2012 session also. There were 143 total votes that were entered into the generator at random.org (drum roll please)….and the lucky winner is #15 (Laura Hollamon – boy that pick me, pick me, stuff really worked). For each of you who weren’t as lucky this go round stay tuned for other great specials and promotions. Keep your eyes wide open for the fresh new website that will be live soon. Keep smiling friends…until next time!!!! ~ xoxo, Amber

In looking back and reflecting on the wonderful year of 2011, I have decided that my favorite part of my work is the relationships I have the opportunity to build with my clients. I love to see new faces in front of my camera…and having those same faces share their lives with me and build a great connection is something I’ve grown to love. It is an honor and a simple joy. I adore capturing images for my clients that are personal and heartfelt because I know them. It may be from tons of emailing or long phone calls or simply reconnecting about life that has happened since our last time spent together. It is an incredible privilege to be able to capture all the important things in someones life.
Because of that I am going to share a few of my favorite images from 2011. Mind you this will not be all of them because well lets face it this post has to end sometime, but here are a handful of the ones that I am drawn to from this past year. I had a lot of fun looking back and selecting a few to share with you all. Looking back has made me that much more excited for 2012 and all it has in store. I truly love my job, simply because of each of you and I cannot wait to see you all again in the new year!!!
Oh…and like a lot of photographers I am going to hold a nice little contest from the images below. So vote on your favorite from the list and leave the number you wish to vote for along with your name in the comment section (you must do this for it to count). The photo with the most votes will win a FREE 2012 Session with Wiseman Photography. Oh and don’t worry if you don’t see one of your photos in the selection…because one person (randomly selected) who leaves a comment on this post will win a FREE 2012 SESSION too. Voting ends January 10, 2012 at noon so hurry and cast those votes.
*winning session must be claimed within 6 months, only one vote per person per IP address*
Courtney + Matt I Amber Wiseman, WNC Photographer
The setting was WinMock at Kinderton. A gorgeous fall day and a beautiful bride and her groom. I had along my sweet side kick for the day Melissa Cockman and we were pumped and ready for this lovely event. Just look at the beauty in these photos…
Courtney and Matt, it was such an honor to be chosen as your wedding photographer. I loved being a part of your celebration. I wish you both a lifetime of love and happiness as strong and as sweet as that single moment at the end of that aisle. I hope that it continues to grow from now until forever.
Mr. & Mrs. Brown I Amber Wiseman, WNC Photographer
I adore this couple…Brent and my baby brother have been friends for years and I was thrilled when he called and asked me to be a part of their special day. I too have known Tonya for quite a while, but hadn’t got to know her well until recently and I simply find her fun, friendly and perfectly suited for Brent. They make such a lovely couple. The wedding was held at the Mountain Gateway Museum in Old Fort, NC. The day was lovely…with a tad of rain, but that didn’t damper anyone’s spirits in the least. I wish Mr. and Mrs. Brown only joy and laughter and love as they grow together.
